Where da fonts?

I upgraded to Windows XP this weekend, and had to reload my programs,
including Word. But I now have a rather limited list of fonts (about 80),
and Charter BT, the one I have used for most of my documents for two years,
is missing, along with lots of others. I didn't add any special fonts to my
computer before--whatever was there was supplied with Windows 98, I presume,
or maybe Word or WordPerfect. I've checked the WP fonts, and there is no
Charter there, so I assume it came with Windows or Word.

Does Word have more fonts available that I somehow didn't access when I
reinstalled the program?

Charter is nnot a Microsoft (Windows or Word) font - at least not a
relatively current one. Have you Googled to see if you can download it
fromsomewhere?

Gosh, I wonder where it came from. Well, I'll check WordPerfect more
closely, and if it's not there to add to my Windows fonts, I'll see if I can
buy a font bundle that has it. Thanks for clarifying.

I'd look for free fonts first. ;-)
