Where did my contacts go?

I have tied GoldMine and Outlook and added over 100
names. Everyone in one system was in the other until 9:15
pm. I had just updated the 2 people and added 4 more in
GoldMine and transfered them to Outlook. Everyone but the
6 are gone. GoldMine still thinks they are there, Outlook
appears to be in a filter that I can't clear. Any
suggestions?

I have deleted and re-installed office xt but I still have
the same problem. I tried to send an email to one of the
6 and found the contacts. They are there but behind what
is shown. I have "cleared all" per the instructions for
filters to no effect.

What do you mean by 'behind what is shown'? Might you have more than one
contact-bearing folder?

I didn't set one up intentionally. I do have a spastic
index finger that occationally hits the mouse button twice
instead of once so I suspect that I may have two. How do
I determine if I do and how do I get it back to one?
