Where did the drawing guides go in PowerPoint 2007?

The drawing guides (accessed via Ctrl-G) were very useful in previous
versions when you needed to absolutely position and align objects of any
shape, and where grids and align functions weren't adequate. It appears this
feature has been removed from PowerPoint 2007. Does anyone know if they're
still there?
Thanks.

Right click on the slide area, then select Grid and Guides. You can then set
the guides from there.

Alt+F9 will toggle the guides on and off. (Ctrl+G now groups selected
items.)

You can also get there on right-click | Grid and Guides, as Shawn explained,
as well as from wherever you see the Arrange tools (last option on the Align
dropdown is Grid settings, which opens the Grid and Guides dialog).
