Where did the various gradiant / texture options go?

In the old version of powerpoint, I could change the fill options to have
stripes, dots, etc. I no longer see those options when I select the texture
fill button.

Also, the old version of powerpoint gave you the option for what colors you
wanted in the gradient fill vs. having to use the preset colors. Are these
features hidden somewhere? I don't like the preset options as they never fit
the look of my decks.

On your first question if you mean the pattern fills they are not available
anymore in PPT 2007.

Regarding patterns, here's a trick that involves using patterns from Excel
2007, copying and pasting into PowerPoint and using the Format Painter.

You need to use WORD though not Excel
