I have Windows 95 and have successfully downloaded the update for excel 97
for the euro symbol. However, I just get a square and now need to get windows
95 to recognise the euro symbol. All the links to downloads on the microsoft
site are dead. Anybody have any ideas / advice or am I the only user left on
the planet with windows 95??!!

I believe there is one other person living in a yurt on the steppes of Central
Asia, he does have the euro, but his solar panel was blown off in the last
sandstorm and so his email is down.

Seriously, I have no idea. Have you Googled for it? Someone, somewhere may
have a solution.

I don't think there are many folks still running Windows 95 and
possibly none are in this group however the Microsoft newsserver shows
there are several newsgroups devoted to Windows 95 and you might give
them a try?

Here's one: microsoft.public.win95.general.discussion

The group seems to be active, there are recent posts.

Hope this helps?
