I have microsoft office on my laptop, and want to take it off and put
it on my main desktop. I cannot find my serial number anywhere...it
has to be listed somewhere on my laptop...can anyone help??
First - you're allowed under your End User License Agreement (EULA)
to install Office on one desktop and one laptop at a time, so
there's no need to remove anything from your laptop.
I can't tell exactly what you're trying to do here. If you're
interested in finding and removing your Product ID (PID) from your

If on the other hand you're looking for the key to install Office on
your desktop, while you can find your PID by choosing About
<Application> from the File menu in any Office app, to install
Office, you'll need your CD key, which should be in the same package
that came with your installation CD.
