Publisher can be used to create a poster. Specifically where have you been
looking?

Hi and thanks JoAnn. I have been looking in the dropdown menu in Publisher
2003. All I get is brochures, newsletters, etc.

One of the issues you will run into is that Publisher is somewhat dependent
on the printer. What size poster are you going to print?

Start with a blank publication, change the size to suit your needs.
