Where do I specify/change the name of the project?

I noticed that when I save a modified project as a new file name, the
old file name (shown as 'project name') was somehow stuck to all the
printed reports, e.g. on the bottom left corner of Gantt charts.

The previous posts on this topic do not seem to answer this simple
question: "How could I change the 'project name' displayed on
reports?"

I use a stand-alone, non-server deployed MS Project 2003.

Thanks!

Hi,

Try selecting Tools, Options then checking the Project Summary Task Option.
Change the name of the Row 0 (zero) task that appears, save and see if this
solves your problem. The Project Summary tasks should be used instead of
creating a summary task for the whole project manually.

NOTE: The name could also be changed in File --> Properties, Title.
What you change in Title will change the line 0 name, and what you
change in line 0 will appear in the Title in File --> Properties.
