Although this isn't the right newsgroup for a general question on
Windows, (this newsgroup is dedicated to questions/issues with MS
Project, a planning and scheduling application), let me field it anyway.
At some point during the installation process (I don't remember exactly
where it occurs) you are asked to enter the product key. If you entered
the key and it was rejected, first make absolutely sure you entered all
the characters correctly (they are NOT case sensitive). If you checked
your entry and it still is rejected then there is a good chance your
copy of Windows is counterfeit. I would attempt to return it and get
your money back.
