Where does code go?

I got a useful piece of code

I'm not sure where to put it? I looks like I have to open
the Normal.dot template and then open the Visual Basic
Editor then just paste this in? There's got to be more to
it than that.

With Word open, hit ALT+F11 - this opens the VBE window. Usually on the
left, you should see the Project Explorer pane - if not, hit CTRL+R. Click
once on the bold NORMAL project name. On the menus, chose INSERT>>MODULE.
Paste your code in there. Save and close. When you want to run the macro,
open Word, chose TOOLS>>MACRO>>MACROS (or hit ALT+F8) and select your macro
name from the list.
