Where does MS Office keep the standard dictionary

Hi,

I'd like to know where Microsoft Office keeps the default dictionary (which
is used for spell check) that is shipped with the product.

I know that Custom.dic is used for terms added by the user.

thanks!

It's in the folder C:\program files\common files\microsoft shared\proof.

That knowledge won't do you much good, because the shipped lexicons are in a
compressed binary format and cannot be opened for viewing or editing.
