Where Does MS Project Save the Projects on the Server

We are using MS Project 2007 SR1 and would like to restore a file from
tape backup. However, we do not know where MS Project stores files to
the server. Is this a common location on the server, or unique to how
it is setup? (We had a third party set ours up, so that is why we are
not sure where the files are saving to).

They are stored in the project database.
Depending on what you have been doing in terms of archiving and backing up
you may need to restore the entire database. It is not as simple as just
restoring a file from back-up.

I suggest you contact the people who set it up for you and ask them what
they recommend.
