I have just installed Onenote on a new hard drive. I have access to the data
files on my old hard drive. I would like to import my onenote data into my
new istallation. Where do I find the old files?

Usually under {My Documents}\My Notebook. In a standard Windows
installation on drive C:, this would be at

c:\Documents and Settings\{username}\My Documents\My Notebook

Bernard,
If you have created any personalized stationery, you will need to move those
files as well. The location for those is C:\Program Files\Microsoft
Office\Templates\1033\ONENOTE\Stationery

Also, you may want to move your back up files. For the location of those,
check out Tools--> Options, Backup.
