Where does Outlook 2007 hide outgoing e-mail?

I'm running Outlook 2007 for my e-mail. When I hit send/receive, it dutifully
connects and downloads all my incoming e-mail. Then it trys to send '1 msg.'
But there's nothing in my outbox; there's nothing in my 'drafts' folder. (1)
Could this be some undelivered auto-response? If so, I'd like to delete it,
but I don't know where it is hidden. (2) Does anyone have any other similar
experiences, and how did you resolve them. Thanks!
