Where has the auto complete function in Word 2007 disappeared to?

In my previous edition of Word (2003), there was a function where you could
enter phrases or words that you used often and when you started to type them,
you got the option to auto-complete the phrase or word just by hitting enter.
For example, you could put Government of Canada and as soon as you typed the
first 3 or 4 letters, it came up. It was a real time saver for long phrases,
company names, job titles, etc. Where has it gone in Word 2007?

That function no longer exists for Word 2007. It may be reintroduced in a
later version. In the meantime if you know the name of the autotext you can
type the first few unique characters and press F3, you can pick them from
the Building Blocks organizer, or you can instead use autocorrect. Eg for
"Government of Canada" you could create an autocorrect for (say) #goc
