That question has no meaning to me. Could you explain what you want to do?

In the ProClarity client there is a feature for the end user to create
his/her own members or measures. One example could be creating a diff measure
between buget and sales. In our organisation this is a very popular feature
for our ProClarity users. We are now trying to migrate from ProClarity to
Excel 2007.

One workaround I tried was to make the calculation in the cells outside the
piovottable, however this did not work very well. Very much work and don´t
align very well to the pivottable. In many cases the enduser want the client
side calculated measure between two measures in the pivottable, I don´t know
how to do this.

One college who is familliar with Excel 2003 told me that the feature
existed there, but I´m not sure.

At this msdn blog the feature is mentioned:

"....Creating client side calculated measures/members (OM only) ", Anyone
know what OM is?

So not an Excel question, rather a ProClarity question. Far fewer
ProClarity users than Excel users. According to Google, yours is the
first post since early 2005 to mention ProClarity, so it's not exactly
a frequently discussed subject. Meaning you're unlikely to find expert
advice in the Excel newsgroups, though there may be no better
alternatives.

It means object model, meaning only available through code (possibly
VBA) accessing the Excel object instance, so not possible with
formulas in cells.

If someone you work with/for believes it's possible in Excel 2003, ask
him/her for details.

Thanks for your help Bob and Harlan.

1. I have now checked if the feature exists in Excel 2003. In Excel 2003 the
feature is named Calculated Field..... and worse for me... not supported if
the data source is OLAP in Excel 2003. And calculated meber is named
Calculated Item in Excel 2003.

2. When Microsoft bought ProClarity and stated that Excel 2007 is the new
OLAP end-user tool, i assumed that all features in ProClarity should be moved
into Excel 2007. Well... The solution for me is to prepare all possible
calculations (measures) in SQL Server AS 2005. Maybe the feature will be
included in future versions or in other applications such as Excel Server?
