Where is install log at in 2008

I know in office 2004, there was a folder called instal log (or something close). Where did that go in office 2008?

The AutoUpdate originally had a tab that showed "installed updates." That
was removed, I assume as a result of problems.

Download this script that will show you Office version info. Note there are
different scripts for Office X, 2004 and Office 2008.
