Where is mac office 2004 "auto update"

In attempting to use the autoupdate feature after installing office 2004, I
get a dialog that says that it's not installed, and would I like to do so.

I say sure, why not, and click the OK, but even with the CD in place the
autoupdate installation fails as it (auto update) can't be found.

I don't see it on the install disk.

So, where does it come from and how can I install it ?

Thanks,
dave

I don;t remember exactly where it is, but I think is is hidden inside
one of the packages in the /Office package inside the MS Office 2004
folder. If it doesn't isntall by itself, you either have a corrupted
install or a permission issue (repair permissions with Disk Utility).

Merci Bien ! I tried the exact same office installation on a fresh "tiger"
and the auto update took off and ran like a champ. So, a relatively fresh
10.3.9 didn't go, but the Tiger took care of me.
