Where is Microsoft Access Driver in FP2003?

I'm trying to setup an Access data base online

I click Tools | Site Settings | Database
I enter the name of my data base

I'm not sure of the Type of connection...
We have 2 folders on the web site... www and data
.. All our normal web pages are in "www"
.. the Access data base is in "data"

- File or folder in current Web site
- System data source on web server
- Network connection to database server
- Custom Connection

I try the 3rd one above and then click Browse...
A window ask me for the "Type of Database" driver
I see two choices... SQL Server and Microsoft OBDC for Orical
I thought I should have seen Microsoft OBDC for Access ???

Is the Microsoft OBDC driver for Access something I should have to download?
If so from where?

You have to create the database on the local copy of your web on your HD, then you would publish or
upload the database to the live/remote server.

If you import the database into your current open FP web / site, then you would use the File or
Folder in the current web (FileSystem DSN) option (this is what FP will set up as a default).

The System data source is a connection the your web host would setup unless your control panel give
you the ability to create System DSN.

Custom connection would be a DSNLess connection which you would have to write yourself.

Our database name is Accounts.mdb
Our ISP setup our DSN for our data base with name Accounts
We now have two folders when we log on to our site with ftp program
www
data
Our ISP put Accounts.mdb into the "data" folder
Our Frontpage files are in the "www" folder

What We Want:
We would like to be able to create the web pages using the power of
FrontPage

The Problem:
BUT... if we import Accounts.mdb into our FrontPage Folder (the www folder)
I am told we will not have the same security... and that the DSN may no
longer work as it has the path to the "data" folder for Accounts.mdb.

The Questions:
Can we have our data base in the "data" folder... outside the FrontPage web
folder named "www" ?

If so how can we tell Front Page where it is so we can create our web pages
for viewing and updating/adding records to the data base with Front Page?

Correct the System DSN would no longer work, but it also wouldn't be needed.

Yes, but FP can't see it, so you would have use FTP to access it, and you would have to manually
create your connection to it using DSNless, FileDSN or the SystemDSN (the one your web host created)
via a Global.asa

updating/adding records to the data base with Front Page?

Once the connection is created, then FP should see the connection, and the built-in FP DB Component
should work at that point.
