Where is PowerPoint on my computer?

OS: Windows XP Home, with
Office XP Small Business

Is some version of PowerPoint supposed to come with my Office suite? ... I
don't see PowerPoint anywhere on my computer ... and PPT files cannot be
opened.

http://www.microsoft.com/office/editions/howtobuy/compare.mspx suggests
that PowerPoint should be included. Perhaps on installtion you or
someone else just simply didn't check a box to get it installed. Dig
out the CD and add PowerPoint to your computer.

Microsoft Office XP Small Business Edition comes with Word 2002, Excel
2002, Outlook 2002, and Publisher 2002.

Doug suggests that XP's version of XP Small Office doesn't contain
PowerPoint. I can't find the web page for this older product.

As previously mentioned, check the CD or the software box if you still
have it (or search Microsoft's web site more), but perhaps it's missing
simply because it's not there.

You didn't even read the question, did you?! He was asking about XP. XP SBE
does *NOT* contain PowerPoint. /Do/ check your fact before posting erroneous

Wow, you guys are fast! I just posted on "microsoft.public.office.setup"
(-and now I've posted again telling them to disregard it-) as follows:

When I put in the Office CD and click on "SETUP" - "Microsoft Office Setup
Bootstrapper" - up comes a screen of "Features to install". That screen
lists 6 major categories: "Excel", "Outlook", "Publisher", "Word", "Shared
Features", and "Tools" ... but there's no sign of PowerPoint.

Does this mean that the Office suite which was purchased did not include
PowerPoint?

.... Yes, I guess the answer is QUITE conclusive ... NO PP for me!

1) PP is NOT available to me from Microsoft as FREE download.

2) A utility to VIEW "ppt" files IS available from Microsoft as a FREE
download.
