where is Show/Hide option?

Show/hide what? You can toggle on/off display of field codes by pressing
Alt+F9. You can toggle on/off display of non-printing characters by clicking
on the ¶ button on the Standard toolbar near the top of your screen, or by
click on Tools | Options | View | check or uncheck the "All" box | OK. If
you're thinking of WordPerfect's reveal codes function, Word doesn't work
that way.
