Where is the custom dictionary

Probably hidden in plain sight, but I added a word instead of
corrected so I have a word in my custom dictionary that is misspelled.
So, where do I find the custom dictionary and how do I edit it? It
W2004 if that makes any difference. Thanks

Start at Preferences » Spelling and Grammar » Dictionaries....

On a sunny day you can edit it in place from there.
If asked, choose plain text, and blast your way through the save
whingeing.

I'm not sure if everyone sees those dialogs. My copy of Word has all
sorts of barnacles, with particularly thick layers round failed custom
dictionary experiments.

Thanks for the assist, kind Sir. We'll check into the barnacles
around our copy and see what happens(G).

Warning: Spell checking is usually turned OFF automatically when you edit
the custom dictionary. Be careful to turn it back on again when you have
finished editing.

Cheers
