Where is the data for Groove.

I am looking to find the location where the data is stored when you
configure groove on a computer. We have setup an account on a server which
is the Archieve account. We are wanting to backup the data but I have not
been able to locate where groove stores it. And before anyone says anything
the backup of an archive is handy when people create workspaces and go and
delete the manager account and it gives the company a warm fussy feeling.

Groove stores the data locally under you profile.
In vista it is this directory where it stored is
C:\Users\<username>\Appdata\Local\Microsoft\Office\Groove.
But all this data is 192 bit encrypted so it will be bogus data if you don
not use the correct user.

If you want to have a backup solution you can use the Groove databridge
server it provides archiving services.

See ya
