I've created a small app that uses ODBC linked tables.
During the link creation I clicked YES to save password
so that my users are not prompted for a login pw each
time they use the application. The userID and pw i
supplied was my own. The ODBC table connection is read
only. However, if some wiz decides to hack my app, can
they find my userid and pw I supplied for the linked
tables? If so, where is it stored? I assume it is
stored locally in the Database somewhere. Is it
encrypted? I've looked everywhere including the hidden
sys files, nothing. I've search MS support, it makes
mention that the pw is stored locally, but not where.
UGGG!
Any ideas guys? MUCH APPRECIATED! Treena
