Where on earth is the English Language packs?

O

Hello, I am endlessly searching of the Office 2007 English Language packs. I
have a German version of Office 2007, and wish to use this in English. I can
find where to buy the language packs at the microsoft office website, but of
the 37 languages they offer, none is in English.

Am I doing something wrong here? Is the website detecting my PC is in
English and thus "presumes" I don't need that language?

Surely the global language of English should be available somewhere.

So I appreciate any help as I need this language installed as soon as
possible.

Many thanks in advance to those providing assistance, and please forgive me
if it's somehwhere obvious that I just missed.

I got an answer. There is and there won't be no single language pack for
English. You either have to get an English version of Office and buy a
German SLP, or buy the Multi-language pack (MLP) once it is available
(not sure if it is out yet).

Sorry, I don't quite get why there is no English SLP either.

Hello Patrick,

Thanks for your answer and checking this out for me.

Wow. I am quite speechless as you can imagine. It is such an unusual thing
to do. I guess I'll have to buy the multi-language pack, but I heard that
would be hundreds $$$.

Once again, thanks for helping me.
cheers.

You might want to see if you can't return the German Office you bought
and instead buy the English Office and then add the German SLP. That
might be a lot cheaper...

Hi Patrick. Problem is, I recieved the package with Vista Ultimate during a
Mircosoft convention in Germany. It is not from a retail store, and I already
asked at the convention if they could supply in English, but they could only
do it in German.

It's such a pity, and I am completely astounded at why MS would not sell the
most widely spoken language in the world when they sell 37 others.
