Hi everyone,
What is a good web site (or book) where I can read about using AutoShapes
and Photographs in Word?
After years of working with Word, I have my first project where it will be
very important that I and coworkers insert AutoShapes, photos, and drawing
files and work with callouts in the same way. We are using Word 2000. I
would like to understand better what can and can't be done. I read all
related chapters in the Que Using Word 2000 book, but didn't find anything
that helps me with graphic anchors. It seems that I can anchor a drawn arrow
to a specific place on the page, column, or in the paragraph, but I can't
anchor it relative to a photograph - and I can't group it with the photo.
Therefore, when the photo moves, the arrow doesn't (for example, if I change
the photo from center aligned to left aligned, the arrow stays where it
was). I'm sure I will run into other "problems" and would like to read about
what is possible and what good solutions there are for "problems."
TIA,
Vivian
