Where'd Document Imaging go?

I;m running Windows XP (SP2), Office 2003 and just installed the 2007 trial
version of ON. As soon as I did that, MS Office Document Imaging
disappeared.

So I uninstalled MSODI and reinstalled it, but it's still not there.
Apparently, having an Office 2007 component kills it. Is there some way I
can get it back?

I think most of the functions of that toolset are now more directly
integrated into the various Office 07 products.

Are you able to use the Print to OneNote 2007 print driver? Is that why
you're asking about MODI?

You will get ODI and Document Scanning when installing Office 2007.
It's modules of Office.

Seems that you "think" into the wrong direction. <g,d&r>
MSODI and MS Office Document Scanning are *separate* modules of Office
2007 (sorted under Office Tools).

Here is the information to solve this problem, taken directly from the
Microsoft Knowledge Base:

To resolve this issue, install the Microsoft Office Document Imaging
program. To do this, follow these steps: 1. Click Start, click Run, type
appwiz.cpl, and then click OK.
2. In the Currently installed programs list, click the 2007 Office version
that you have installed.
3. Click Change.
4. Click Add or Remove features, and then click Continue.
5. Expand Office Tools.
6. Click Microsoft Office Document Imaging, and then click Run all from My
Computer.
7. Click Continue.

Bottom line, you have to install it manually, it doesn't install
automatically. Once installed you'll have full functionality. Good luck.
