Where's Outlook on Office 2007 trials

I downloaded two versions of Office 2007, which states on their lists of
components to have OUtlook, but once installed no Outlook!
Any ideas what is going on?

If you have an another version of MS Office installed and you have Outlook you will need to remove\disable the older Outlook version before you can install the new one from Office 2007
Outlook allows only 1 version to be installed at any 1 time.

How do I disable the older Outlook version?

If I need to remove it how do I retain the settings?

Add/Remove in Control Panel. Uninstalling does not touch your .pst file.

But presumably it does remove rules and various account settings?

The account settings are in the registry and your rules are in the .pst.
