We recently purchased the MS Office Small Bus. Ed. 2003
and there are no clip art or graphics on Pub. & PP
What am I doing wrong.

We have a previous edition of pub 97 and it has lots of
clip-art.

Publisher 2003 (and the rest of Office 2003) come with a very minimal set of
local ClipArt, but give you access to the exclusive Office 2003 content at
http://office.microsoft.com. You need to enable access for Publisher and
the Media Catalog Object to the internet and allow Publisher to search under
Web Collections to access this content from within Publisher.

We recently purchased 5 computers for our small, private
school and need the publisher clipart. These computers
are NOT connected to the Internet. I've tried installing
an older version of Publisher on one of the computers but
it still will not find the Clip Art - even after telling
Publisher to search/categorize. Any advice?

The Organizer and the Gallery are not compatible...

The older versions of Publisher will install the Clip Gallery, what you need to do is
this:

Open the Clip Gallery, click Import Clips, files of type, scroll down to Clip Gallery
catalogs and browse to where you have the clipart stored. Newer versions of Publisher
will not use the Clip Gallery automatically, you can insert, object and scroll down
to Microsoft Clip Gallery. You can drag the CAG icon to the desktop and use it as a
standalone, you cannot insert from it but you can drag and drop. It is in a folder
similar to this:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Artgalry

There is an add-in here:

In addition to Mary's response, if you have Publisher 2002 or Office XP on
CD, you can install the Media Content CD from that and the ClipArt will go
into your Organizer in 2003.
