Where's the NEWS command?

D

Dennis Adamisin

Trying to replace Outlook Express w/ Outlook 2003. Got everything xferred
EXCEPT the News reader. I went through the HELP topic, it directed me to
pull down the Toolbar, Customize, open Commands tab then Category - Go, then
drag/drop News - except there is no News to select.

Just for laughs I tried the other Categories too - no News is bad News!

HELP!!!

Hi Dennis,

The News menu item was removed from the default list on the "Go" menu in
Outlook 2003. The good news is that it's easy to add it back. See below
for a step-by-step:
1.. On the Tools menu, click Customize.
2.. Click the Commands tab.
3.. In the Categories list, click Go.
4.. In the Commands list, click News, and drag it without releasing the
mouse, until it rests over the Go menu. When the menu displays a list of
commands, point to where you want the command to appear, and then release
the mouse.
I hope this helps - have a great day!

Regards,

Bob Cooley, [MSFT]
