Which CD Did I Use?

H

Herb

I have two copies of Office 2003 Professional, and have installed one.
I'm now ready to install the second copy on another computer, BUT.. I
can't remember (and didn't bother to write down) which CD I used for the
first install.

Is there a way to identify which product key I used for the first
install?

Thank you.

Try the beta3 version of KeyFinder at www.magicaljellybean.com . According to
the author it will display Office 2003 Keys. That should tell you what you
want.

Thank you for your answer - that's a great little prog., but the 1.5
Beta 3 version, running under XP, only displayed the Operating System
(Windows XP) key (not Office 2003). On my Win98 system, it shows the
office products with no problem. Their forum seems to indicate that it
works for some, not for others ...

Thanks again.

use AIDA32. It will display Office 2003 CD keys.
Get it here: http://www.aida32.hu/aida32-download.php
You must download and install the Enterprise Edition. Only it will display
the Office key.
