Which copy is which?

Hi

We recently had 9 new pcs installed at our office. All
have had XP Pro and Office XP installed and, apparently,
activated during the commissioning process.

The builders placed XP Pro stickers on the machines so we
know which machine has which copy of the OS installed.
However, this has not happened with Office and, in
help..about.. the code given is totally different to that
which is on each of the cd certificates.

How can I audit the pcs so that I know which cd pack
belongs to which machine, in case we ever need to
reinstall Office XP?

http://www.magicaljellybean.com has a freeware utility that will pull the 25
digit code from the registry. Use that and then match the CD cases with the
machines.
