Which Desktop Search?

Before installing the 2007 Beta I was using MSN Toolbar + Desktop Search v2.
On installing 2007 and opening Outlook it has downloaded a new engine for
Desktop Search (v3 I believe) It now appears tht I have two seperate search
applications running. Can I uninstall the old MSN Toolbar & Search?

You can uninstall the MSN toolbar and search. That will essentially only
uninstall the MSN toolbar add-on, leaving the search features.

However,

when I installed the Beta 3.0 search I no longer had my credit card info and
passwords in MSN Search Toolbar form fill feature (not to be confused with
the form fill of IE).

Same for me. I am tempted to unstall the new search and re-install the old
one to get the "form fill" tool back but I got the impression this was a
required upgrade during the install.
