I would like to ask some general questions about word 2000
Which would be the best newsgroup.

The microsoft.public.word.docmanagement newsgroup has become the de
facto dumping ground for general questions, because that's where the
navigation pane of the web-based forum mechanism points. The
m.p.w.newusers group is also nonspecific.
