Which Function? Show data from another cell

I have a spredsheet, each row has a reference number in column A. O
another worksheet I want to be able to type in the reference number an
have data form certain cells (eg from column B or D etc) in that row t
appear in the cell next to it.
eg I type in refernce number 1935 which is in cell A7 in workshee
'Enquiries'. I want whatever is in C7 to show in the cell to the righ
of where I just typed in 1935.
