Which is the best book?

These books are recommended on the page prior to this forum:
Microsoft Access 2003 Step by Step.
Access 2003 Bible.
Special Edition Using Microsoft Office Access 2003.

I probably need to get one of them. I'll never have time to read cover to
cover, so with my "project based learning style", can you recommend the best
book based on usefulness of the index and completeness of explanations to
newbies. For example, in the recent posts on Date and Time Recording, when
Ricky Hicks gave the step by step instructions, the solution was very clear
and understandable. Hope the question is clear. Thanks to you all. H.

If you truly want a "project based" book, consider John Viescas' book
"Building Microsoft Access Applications". He includes and explains 4 common
database applications. The book also includes sections on naming
conventions, avoiding common problems, and other very useful information.

Viescas also wrote Acces 2003 Inside Out and that got mostly great revies on
Amazon. Do you know this one?

Hughie,

This is a great book, which covers many aspects of Access from
introductory level to more advanced. It is written in a very
understandable style. I highly recommend it.
