which office to use with intel celeron cpu 2.40 ghz processor

I have a 1 year old Dell dimension 2400 with an intel celeron 2.40, 2.39 ghz
512 MB RAM, I need to get microsoft office 2000 or higher for college
classes. which office product (if any) would be compatible with my system?

Any Office edition, 2k or higher is compatible, this assumes winXP and
sufficient hard disk space.
Office2k was replaced by Office2002 which was in turn superceeded by
Office2003 and as a student you qualify for a student edition (Lower price)
