WHICH OFFICE?

J

John Diehl

We have several laptops in our office, each with MS Office
Professional. Someone had the bright idea to collect the
original CDs in one place. Bad idea, because now we don't
know which CD goes with which machine.

How do you tell? When running Office, we can open About
and view the product ID number, but the CD cases or CDs do
not show this number anywhere. Is there a way to tell?

Thanks

http://www.magicaljellybean.com has a freeware utility that will pull the
installation number used for each machine. You can then match them with the
corresponding CD case.
