which posting spot?

I want to find the newsgroup which might help me address the problem I have
with "windows installer" wanting to run and to run - to distraction. Is
this the newsgroup I want?

This is the right place *if* the installer runs when you start Word.
If it runs for other programs, you need to look at newsgroups that
deal with those programs.
