Which Profile?

I am using 2 different profiles in OL 2003. Is there any way to confirm
which profile is in use at any time? I see no indication in OL of which
profile is in use. Exiting and restarting OL lets me choose which profile
to use but it doesn't tell me which I was using.

Depending on the account type you are using, you can rename the root of the
folder to indicate which mail profile you are in;
Right click the root of your folders-> Properties-> button Advanced...->
edit the Name field

Thanks! Just to be sure I'm not screwing things up, when I open the
Advanced thing (What to call it, button? screen? window?) the Profile name
itself does not appear. The name of the folder ("Personal Folders") appears
at the top of the screen with no obvious "edit" option. The rest of the
information on the screen is sort of grayed out. Do I merely rename
"Personal Folders" here to something else that would identify the Profile?
Will this have any effect on the automatic naming of my pst times? (Namely
Outlook.pst, Archive.pst etc.) Is there any down-side to consider?

Correct, it shows the name of your Personal Folder set. You can rename this
to your mail profile. It doesn't affect the actual name of your pst-file nor
does it affect anything else.

There are some other methods that you can use as well.
