Which system would you suggest?

I have created a Project plan for an activity at our organization. To ensure
team buy-in and participation org-wide I'd like to give the individual team
leaders access to the primary file (allow them to update their dept
activities, view team progress, etc.) I am considering adding Project Server
to our system to help facilitate this. Would you recommend Project Server or
can you suggest a better system? Do we need the full Enterprise Project Mgmt
Solution Technologies? Any other suggestions or products you'd recommend?
Thanks!

Project server will give your team some very valuable views into the project
data - but there is also a learning curve as to why they want to plan
projects, and track the progress. Some users will be happy just to play with
a new toy, but many will resist what they will see as an intrusion and
unnecessary admin time.
That being said it would be much safer to have project server where user
access can be restricted, rather than multiple people accessing a stand alone
project plan.
For users the real benefit of project server is the web access that can be
tailored for all types of stakeholders

Hope this works out for you
