Which updates to install?

Version: 2008
Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Intel

Hi, I am having problems updating my software with the Office 2008 for Mac Service Pack 1 (12.1.0), it can't be installed because it didn't find previous updates already installed on my mac, where can I find those updates? Which updates to install before the 12.1.0?

If you have any level 2008 12.0.0 -12.0.x installed there are no prior
updates required in order to apply SP1. My guess is that this is a new
installation of a recently purchased copy of Office which is already at
12.1.0 or later. In any of the apps go to the Application name in the menu
bar & select "About..." to confirm. You should be able to just use Help>
Check for Updates in order to get SP2 (12.2.0) plus the 12.2.1 interim
update applied.
