Which Version is best for M.E.

Hi all. Soon-to-be-new user here. I need to know, based on your experience, which version(s) of Office work best with Millennium Edition. Easily available or not is no issue. Or, perhaps, what should I avoid may be the easier question. I'm using a 400 mghz, Intel pentium ll. I know it's antiquated but I'm going to stick with it for now. Thanks for your help

Office XP or earlier will work. Stay away from Office 2003 as it requires a
more modern OS to run.
