I would like to upgrade our office edition of 2001 to the Office 2004 version. Can anyone tell me how many computers you can run the Office Professional 2004 version on as I can't seem to find this info on Microsoft's website?

When you purchase Office 2004 you are allowed to install on one computer and
one laptop. You cannot use an application at the same time if the computers
are networked.

You might need the Student & Teacher version. Office 2004 does contain
Exchange and it will give you 3 license keys.

You¹ll find all kinds of info about version, license keys etc here:

You have no need of the Professional edition of 2004 unless you're using PPC
Macs & intend to run Virtual PC 7 - that's the only difference between
Professional & Standard.

You'd need to contact MS for volume licensing information if it's even still
available for Office 2004 which is no longer in production.
