which web design download for Vista?

Pamela

Hello,

I'll be traveling with my laptop and will need to make minor updates to web
pages designed in FP.

I'd like to download FPE or something very simple (and free). IS FPE still
available and does it work on Vista? I want to make sure that whatever I
load in will work with the pages I already have designed.

FP Express hasn't been available in years, and no, it wouldn't work in
Vista.

Therein lies my problem. I'm an educator, and the college is licensed to use
FP in a certain number of computers here. However, I don't have FP on THIS
computer, am leaving tomorrow, and there's no one on campus for the entire
week.

I would either have to buy a program to use for two weeks, or hopefully,
find something LIKE FPE that would work on VISTA. That is what I'm looking
for. Can anyone here recommend anything like that, please?

Download the expression web trial from
http://www.microsoft.com/expression/products/download.aspx?key=web

IMPORTANT: Do not forget the product key obtainable from a link on that
page.

This will run on Vista, and if you are editing existing pages will work
the same as FrontPage - EXCEPT Expression Web will not handle VML
graphics (wordart, shapeart etc.) if you used it.

If adding new pages, EW does not support the Navigation View or
FrontPage link bars - those existing on old pages will not be harmed in
any way.
