whilst I typing the curser jumps to another line ... whats wrong?

I am marking essays and have to make comments curser starts popping arand
midway in the typing the round.

see what I mean!

Thanks for your advice but i ty...ountered... pe as carefully as i can and it
still seems to jump about i shall continue to type untill it goes wrong. of
course it is like all intermittant problems it never happens when you are
doing it to demonstrate. i shall try to type as i have been doing and see if
i can recreate the problem but as usual it wont go wrong ... maybe it is
related to Word 2003 because it doesn´t seem to be going wrong here.

I am a university lecturer trying to mark essays so it is very frustrating.

Thanks for you advice in any case. --- maybe I will have to use this medium
to compose my education because this is the only place where i have not enc
..... did you see that --- the rest of encountered is up on the top line ...
i have put the dots there to show you it

I have just been on to ACER and they suggest Fn+F7 to switch off the touchpad
or to reboot the machine. I don't know whether this will solve the problem
but it did help that when using Skype ( I am in Spain and ringing ACER in
Plymouth UK) you have to drop the first0 of the 0870 number!! They don't call
me Grandad for nothing!

In any case the problem hasn't resurfaced whilst typing this reply so maybe
switing off the touch pad has done the trick

In any case thank you both for helping.

I´ll let you know if I find a better solution.

Some touchpads are notoriously over sensitive. When that occurs, if there is
no way to reduce the sensitivity in the touchpad software, then the only
option is to turn it off and use some other pointing device.

Incidentally if you choose the destination country in Skype on your laptop
you should only have to type the number as if you were calling it locally -
Skype makes the adjustments to the international dialling sequence. If
calling UK numbers from *any* phone including a Skpe phone you always drop
the leading zero after 0044.

If using Skype to call a computerised telephone system, ignore the requests
to punch in extra numbers and wait for the operator to answer.
