White screen on one project on one client

When a project manager in our company opens up a specific project server
file, the project loads (according to the status bar on the lower left), but
before it appears on the screen, the window within MS Project turns white in
what appears to be a stall.

The only way to get out of it is to force a close via ALT-CTRL-DEL. The odd
thing is it only happens with that one project and on his box. I can open
the file okay on my box and on other project manager boxes.

Has anyone faced this problem and resolved it? If so, how?

Thanks in advance for any responses.

Thanks for responding. Sorry I didn't catch your reply sooner.
The problem solved itself. He was able to open it again a few days later.
The cause, and the solution for that matter, remain unknown.

I've had no reports of it happening again to anyone else since.
