White Sheet Labels + Macros

Michael Strickland

I've been using Excel since 1.0, and I've never encountered this before
....

Excel:Mac v. X
OS X 10.3.9

1. Suddenly the Worksheet Labels at the bottom of the Workbook are WHITE
(making them unreadable), and nothing I've found so far will change them
back to BLACK. :-( Also, creating a new Workbook has the same problem!

2. About the same time this happened, this workbook I use everyday
suddenly has the familiar "Macro Warning" when opening the document or
adding Names. I have not created any macros in this workbook! How do I
get rid of this as well?

Thanks for any help,
Michael

Well, I solved problem one, by trashing the Excel Settings.

But I still need to find out how do get rid of a Macro in this Workbook,
if one exists. Any help out there?

Thanks,
Michael

After opening the file, type alt-F11 to open the VBA editor. In the Projects
window, double-click on Sheet1, ThisWorkbook, and any other present. Their
code window will open. One of them may not be empty, which is causing the
warning. Erase the code. Close the editor by selecting Close and Return to
Microsoft Excel in the Excel menu.
