In Word 2003 on the main menu bar click "Format >Background", then select
the color you would like to use for the background. The text will
automatically be white when you select a black background. If you opt for a
different color background then you click on "Format>Font". When the font
dialog box opens make sure you are on the "Font" tab. Locate "Font Color",
click on the down arrow and choose the color for your font.

James,

Thanks. Will this procedure also work for a selected (hightlighted)
individual sentence (white on black) within a paragraph of normal (black on
whit) text?
