Who can use these forms?

Hello All,

My question is related to both who can read these forms, and who might be
able to fill them out. I work with a national architecture firm, and my boss
fell in love with InfoPath's capabilities. We were using a version of Word
before, which seems inadequate to our needs. Unfortunately, I don't know if
our clients (scattered around the country, using 03) will be able to read
these fabulous things. Additionally, I don't know if they have Publisher.
I've read a bit of the help files on this, and it seems like I won't be able
to do what I need to do (have people outside my company fill out these forms,
or at least be able to read them). Please help! Many thanks.

I made an error in the previous post - I meant to say that I don't know if my
clients have InfoPath, not Publisher. Sorry for any confusion.

Hi,

You can use Browser enabled forms. This is a new option in the Infopath2007.
Users can able to open the form in the browser if they don't have Infopath
installed in their machines. I mean no need to install Infopath in their
machines.

Infopsth2007 and sharepoint2007 is required to work with Browser enabled
forms.

Hi,
If you are using Infopath 2007 then you can make the form browser enabled.
So that the form can be opened for every one who does not have infopath also.
To make the form browser compatible, follow the below steps.
1.Open the form in design mode.
2.Go to Tools-> form options.
3.Click on Compatibility. Check ‘Design a form template that can be opened
in a browser or infopath’ in Browser compatibility section.

If users have 2003 and the forms are built in 2007, can the users with 2003
view and enter info into them? without issues?
